Sun: tolerates light shade in the South and Southwest where the sun is intense. Cilantro is a cool weather herb preferring planting zones above 7. We cannot guarantee a long life-cycle for cilantro in this climate (Zone 10). We do not recommend planting cilantro after April or before October. If you are growing cilantro indoors, provide plenty of sunlight in the morning and dappled sunlight in the afternoon.
